Inductors offer ‘highest’ Q value
Murata has announced the LQP02TQ series of miniature 01005 (EIA) surface mount inductors.
Measuring just 0.4 x 0.2mm, the devices are believed to have the highest Q value (2.4GHz) of any other 01005 packaged inductors.
The series comprises 31 inductors with values ranging from 0.4 to 10nH. With a Q of over 30 at 2.4GHz, value deviation from nominal is within +/- 0.1nH for devices with up to 3.9nH values and +/- 3% of stated nominal above.
The devices are designed for use in high frequency modules, smartphones and all other types of high frequency circuits.
